Subject to the provisions of LMC 2.36.020 and the pleasure of the City Council, members of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board shall serve for a term of three years or until appointment of a successor member, whichever is later, unless otherwise replaced. It is provided, however, that for the initial appointment, three members shall be initially appointed for three-year terms, or until appointment of a successor member, whichever is later, unless otherwise replaced; two members shall be initially appointed for two-year terms, or until appointment of a successor member, whichever is later, unless otherwise replaced; and two members shall be initially appointed for one-year terms, or until appointment of a successor member, whichever is later, unless otherwise replaced. In case of any vacancies on the commission, vacancies shall be filled consistent with the procedures set forth in LMC 2.36.020, for the unexpired terms for which such vacancies are filled.
